About Marcus
Registered Clinical Counsellor with fifteen years in practice. Before counselling, I spent a decade in high-pressure corporate teams. I know what burnout feels like from the inside.
My approach blends person-centred therapy with EMDR and CBT where they help. Sessions are practical and unhurried; we go at the pace that’s right for you.

“
I came in barely sleeping and left, a year later, feeling like myself again. Marcus made it safe to say the hard things out loud.

Questions
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes. Every new client starts with a free 20-minute phone or video call. It’s a chance to ask questions and see if we’re a good fit, with no obligation.
Is counselling covered by my benefits?
Most extended health plans in BC cover Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC). I provide receipts, and direct billing is available with some insurers.
Is everything confidential?
Yes. What you share stays between us, with a few legal exceptions (risk of serious harm, court orders) that I’ll explain fully in our first session.
In person or online?
Both. I see clients in person at my Kitsilano office and by secure video anywhere in BC. Many clients mix the two.
